D6 Sports has a new product called the Surfskimmer. It adds a detachable arm extension and handlebar to a skimboard, making it a safer way for children ages 5 – 12 to learn the basics while staying close to the shore. Once they hone their skills, they can remove the handlebar and skim like the pros (video). D6 SurfSkimmer is hosting a Twitter party to promote it, as well as #JerseyLove.
They’ll be throwing the Twitter party on Monday, June 3rd, 9 – 10 PM EDT. If you participate, you’ll have a chance to win prizes and get the word out that the Jersey Shore is back to business, thus spreading #JerseyLove. Join hosts @D6SurfSkimmer @DawnSandomeno @hollywoodhotmom @njdigitalmoms and @SMMoms at #Surfskimmer and #JerseyLove on Tweetgrid. Follow #jerseylove #hangten and #surfskimmer hashtags and tweet with us.
Social Media Moms and NJ Digital Moms will present Belmar Mayor Matt Doherty with a check on Friday, June 7th during their Social Media for Social Good retreat, thanks to the generosity of D6 Sports. This donation will benefit families displaced after Superstorm Sandy. This is part of a mission to spread #JerseyLove.
