This is the beginning of a photo series. I’ll be taking several photowalks in the Princeton area, re-discovering the places in our community taken for granted. I’ll give you a glimpse of the things that make the Princeton area so special, occasionally from a different perspective.
My first photowalk of this series took place at the Grounds for Sculpture. Princeton Public Library card holders can obtain a free museum pass for up to four adults, so there’s NO reason to pass up the opportunity to see these magnificent sculptures. The photos don’t do these pieces justice, so I encourage you to see these works of art at the Grounds for Sculpture for yourself, especially if you’ve never been, or it’s been a while since your last visit.
Love Grounds for Sculpture. We went such a long time ago – it was before I was blogging. I saw your George Segal shot and I said, yup, that’s Grounds for Sculpture. I loved the impressionist paintings done in sculpture.
I had gone to Grounds for Sculpture once about 8 years ago, so when I went last month I had forgotten how great it is. I need to go back again later this year!
