Princeton Girlchoir (PGC) is currently accepting audition appointments for the 2016-2017 season. Any rising third – twelfth grade girl is welcome to audition.
PGC offers a first-class music education to the choristers who participate in all six of their ensembles. Girls who have trained with PGC are regularly accepted into prestigious university music programs across the country. While most of choir’s alumnae succeed in careers outside of music, all benefit from the discipline, community, and female empowerment that has been the hallmark of Princeton Girlchoir for 25 years.
The 2016-2017 season includes concerts planned along the East Coast. The Performing Division choirs will be touring this summer. Recent tours have taken the them to Austria, Colorado, the Czech Republic, Hawaii, and Trinidad in addition to this year’s trip to Ireland.
Auditions for new choristers are scheduled for June 4 and June 11, 2016 at Princeton Day School. However, PGC will work with families to find an alternative date for those unable to attend the scheduled auditions dates. We invite those auditioning to hear the music showcased by all six ensembles during the Princeton Girlchoir’s Spring Concert Series. The first performance is on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 7 PM at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, and the second one is on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 7 PM at Princeton University Chapel. These performances promise to be a special treat for audiences. For concert and ticketing information, visit Princeton Girlchoir.
