Unique Valentine Gift Ideas

January 17, 2012 By

Valentine’s Day is approaching. It seems like I just threw away holiday wrapping, and now I’m thinking of gift ideas again. If you’re reading this, you’re probably on the hunt for ideas. Luckily, I’ve just put together an extensive compilation of unique ideas for moderate, mid-range and luxury budgets for Valentine gifts. Since I occasionally post gift ideas, I’ll try not to duplicate any, so here are previous posts with more suggestions for you: Romantic Dates, Unique & Luxury Holiday Gifts, Fun & Romantic Valentine’s Day Gifts, Luxury Valentine Day Gifts.

SENTIMENTAL AND BUDGET IDEAS

For Men and Women

  • How Do I Love Thee? – Hand write a love letter or poem on nice stationery from The Papery confessing your love, or send the Princeton Garden Statesmen to the office or home with a singing telegram.
  • Flowers – Guys if you’re married, bring Viburnum a wedding photo of your bride’s bouquet a week before Valentine’s Day and you can have a vase version delivered to the office or home.
  • Mixtape –  Download or rip all of your favorite songs that have a special meaning for you and burn them onto a CD. Pop it in a jewel case, use a photo of the two of you as the album cover, and give it a nice title.
  • Photo Book – Convert all of those digital images still on your camera or computer into a photo book filled with memories made at CVS. They even provide same day in-store pick up!
  • Indoor Picnic – If you have kids, feed them earlier and get them in bed or involved in an activity. Lay a blanket on the floor in front of a fireplace and enjoy dinner or wine and cheese by a crackling fire. No fireplace? Create a similar mood by placing several lit soy candles from Whole Earth Center on a baking pan or by viewing this fireplace video on a laptop or TV with access to YouTube.
  • Virtual Caribbean Vacation – Same as above, just add tropical drinks and island food, watch this beach video, and play some reggae or calypso music.
  •  Mini-Facial – Schedule a free treatment at Origins for your love at the Nassau Street location, and give a gift card. Great for men or women.
  • Dancing With Your Star – Book an introductory private dance lesson at Fred Astaire Dance Studio for only $29!

    Hey Princeton Found,
Cool Post! An appropriate gift for Valentine’s Day needs to primarily be able to convey the feelings in a romantic and a specific way. Even though there are countless possibilities for Valentine presents to choose from in the industry and by internet today, you would have to have to look a little bit further for that unique valentine present to make confident it will be relatively appreciated by the particular person who will be obtaining it. This particular gift will genuinely and unquestionably express the depth of your love and what your loving relationship signifies to you. Receiving gifts make the receiver really feel wonderful and the most thoughtful partners are a great deal more than ready to embark on that research to find out the most distinct presents.
I look forward to your next post!

James, it gets difficult year after year to find a unique gift for that special person in your life, even if you know their personality very well. Sometimes the obvious gift is too predictable, and the receiver feels a bit cheated since little effort was put into finding a gift. One of these ideas might be perfect for the one you love, but if not, the list will certainly get your juices flowing. Thanks for the comment!

    Great collection of ideas.

Some boys love cars more then they love their girl :0)
If your guy is one of those I would rent his dream sport car for Valentines day.
Have it wait for him in the drive way with a huge “I love you Jack” note and some heart shaped balloons. He will feel so cool that day…

    Happy Valentines

These are great ideas, thanks! Also, what about an aphrodisiac lollipop? They are organic, herbal and new from Pandora’s Pops
